On Saturday I was over at the EnergizeIT conference in Toronto held by Microsoft Canada helping out at the Ask The Experts booth. It was a great event with over 1500 in attendance (not bad for a Saturday).
I had a chance to meet the winner of the MSDN Canada Code Awards which was Michael Amanfi who built Team Workflow for .NET a solution on top of Windows Workflow Foundation that allows business users to develop their own workflows instead of having a developer do it. Congrats to Michael for taking top honors!
I also got a chance to meet and do an impromptu podcast with Carl Franklin of .NET Rocks. He had no idea I was part of OpenNETCF and it was great to hear that Carl is a user of the Smart Device Framework. Listen to the podcast here.
Overall it was a great event and great to talk to people in the community about various different technologies. Can't wait to go again next year, I just hope they have more Windows Mobile and Compact Framework content available!
