Well I'm on a new project now for iViewSystems based in Mississauga, Ontario since my Verizon contract has ended. Can't really talk about the project I'm working on but I'm not working on their core products; which are pretty cool by the way. Will be leading a team of five developers on this project which includes both desktop and mobile applications. At the end we will have a commercial product which will be launched at the International Casino Exhibition in Earls Court, London England.
The core products are installed in various casinos around the world and handles incident reporting and management. One of the cooler products is the Facial Recognition product that can spot banned players from the casino and notifies appropriate staff. Reminds me of the scene in the movie Casino when they catch some guy cheating (listen here). Here are some more audio clips from the movie.
