The Canadian Junior hockey team finally broke the three year second place streak with a win tonight over Russia. It's also the first championship since '97! The juniors completely dominated the tournament with no loses, 32 goals for and only 5 goals against. Congrats go out to them!
Now if there is ever an NHL season (which don't think will happen) hopefully The Leafs can bring home Lord Stanley's Cup home...last time we won was '67 (38 years ago!!) and I wasn't even born yet!! BTW no offense to anyone who actually saw the Leafs win the last cup...it would just be nice to see that also :)
Well at least the Cup's permanent home is in the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto :)
